‘Tis The Season with Peppermint Kisses

Hi everyone, Denise here with my last post using the Peppermint Kisses CollectionIMG_2799RB

IMG_2791

I started with a sheet of Snow Weave cardstock. Next I used some green strips from the Fun and Festive paper along the top and bottom of the white card.

After this I cut out the zig zag and stripey strips from the HoHoHo paper and layered above the green strips at the top and bottom .

Once this was done, I took some Rose Gold Kaisermist and flicked across the white.IMG_2791

Next, I cut three journal cards from the Under the Tree paper then placed across the middle without sticking down to see how I wanted them to look.

I fussy cut some Christmas trees from the papers and the Paper Pad and placed where I wanted them under the journal cards.

Once I was happy, I mounted my photo on to a piece of the green paper from Fun and Festive paper and adhered them all down across the middle.IMG_2799R

Next, I added lots of little die cuts from the Collectables Pack and the Sticker Book across the bottom, some mounted on to foam tape and some flat.

To finish off, I added gems onto the trees.

This has been a brilliant collection to work with  and I hope you are inspired to use it too !

Merry Christmas with Peppermint Kisses

Hi everyone,

Denise here with my second layout using the lovely Peppermint Kisses Collection IMG_2797 R2B2

In this layout I am focusing on using the Collectables Pack . I love these little packs of die cuts, they are usually the first thing I go to when receiving my box to work with. I love to open the pack and look through them all to see what I can do with them.

I started with a 12 x 12 paper called Minty for my base, then cut down a sheet of Wrapped Up paper next.IMG_2784I painted  a Christmas Tree and a Merry Christmas sentiment from the Wooden Flourishes Pack and left them to dry .

Next i decided on my photo then matted it onto some paper from the Paper Pad and some Crimson Weave Cardstock

I decided to place my photo on the left side of the layout, then decorated around it with lots of die cuts and the wood flourishes.IMG_2797IMG_2797 RBIMG_2785

The die cuts from the Collectables were raised up on Foam Tape to add dimension .

I drew some little dots above the baubles to look like they were hanging down.

Finally I used some of the Curios to decorate in between the die cuts.IMG_2797 R2

I hope you have enjoyed this, I’m loving working with this collection.

Happy scrapping !

Cards with Peppermint Kisses

Hi everyone Denise here with three cards using the absolutely gorgeous Peppermint Kisses collection.MERLY DT 2 collageR B

This is a really great collection for Christmas, with vibrant colours, my brief was to make three cards, so I decided to make three 6 x 6 cards.

I took three scallopped 6 x 6 cards from my stash to start with.

IMG_2717R

For all three cards, I used  mainly papers from the 6 x 6 paper pad to make the backgrounds and die cuts from the Collectables Pack.

I switched the colourways and designs of the cards.

For the first one, I used Crimson Kaisercard as the base, then cut four squares of the same size and adhered them on to the front of the card. I mounted some Collectables on to Foam Tape on to the front and added a few Red Rhinestones.

IMG_2715

For my second card, I folded the front in half to add interest, I then used the Crimson Card as the base again, then used papers from the Paper Pad and Collectables again.

IMG_2718

My third card was again using papers from the  the Paper Pad. I used three different papers and layered them on to the front of the  card, then used Die Cuts again from the Collectables and Rhinestones to decorate.

These cards are quick to make and very effective, with the amount of papers in the pad and collectables in the pack, you could really make a lot of cards ready for the festive season . I hope you like them and are inspired to make some!

Awesome using Unicorn Pad

Hello everyone, Denise here with my final layout using the lovely 12 x 12 Unicorn Pad.

IMG_2500RB

Having two little grand daughters, I’ve gone to town with the gorgeous pinks and lilacs in this pad.

I decided to make a heart themed page and made myself a small heart template. I then drew around these in pencil across one each of the stripy pages from the pads.

IMG_2256

Taking thread in the same colours as the stripes, I stitched around the hearts.

12x12 Paper Pad - Unicorns

Taking the heart template I used from last week’s layout, I drew gently around the little hearts then stitched it.IMG_E2500

Once this was done, I used the template of the larger heart I cut out last time to draw lightly around the smaller ones. I then stitched around this.

I used two more papers from the Pad for backgrounds, cutting one down to 11.5 x 11.5 inches. I cut the stripy paper with the sewn hearts on down to 10.5 x 10.5 and placed n the other two papers.

I layered some papers from the pad behind the photo and placed it on the bottom right of the large heart.

IMG_2500R

To embellish the layout, I fussy cut lots of elements, unicorns, clouds, rainbows and the words ‘Awesome’ and ‘Celebrate’ which were raised up with foam tape.

IMG_2495IMG_2496

Finally as a finishing touch, I doodled some elements to match the papers with one of the Kaisercraft Gel Pens and flicked some Kaisermist in Rose Gold.

Finally I dotted some Pink Rhinestones around.

I hope you have liked my creations using the Unicorn Pad and are inspired to give it a go !

Make Your Own Magic

Hi everyone, Denise here with another page using the lovely  12 x 12 Unicorn Pad

IMG_2319RB

I used one of the ditsy floral papers from the pad as my background.

From a sheet of Snow Weave card,I drew a heart then cut it out. I then pierced around the edges of the card then stitched with lilac thread, I also doodled and stitched the doodled design. I trimmed the white card down to 11.5 x 11.5 inches.

Next, I stencilled some stars using the Scattered Stars Designer Stencil round the layout using Lilac Distress Ink

I drew around the heart with a pink glittery  Gel Pen.

I then adhered the white heart frame to  the ditsy flower background and embellished with items from my stash and some of the elements that I fussy cut from the pad and some Paper Flowers

To finish off I decorated with some Pink Rhinestones.

Hello Baby with Unicorn Pad

Hi everyone something a little different from me today. This month I was given the lovely 12 x 12 Unicorn Pad to work with.

IMG_1983RB

The pad has an amazing choice of patterned papers, some can be used for backgrounds and some can be fussy cut .

I started with a background with lovely pastel colours, using the Scattered Stars Stencil and Texture Paste

IMG_1983R

Once they were dry I went over them with some watered down Fired Brick distress ink .

I stamped a sentiment and some butterflies straight on to the background using the magical Fairy Garden Stamp Set

Clear Stamps - Fairy Garden CollectionIMG_1981

I fussy cut some unicorns, clouds, stars, rainbows and some wording for a title from some of the papers. IMG_1982

My photo was mounted on some of the beautiful pink glittery paper.

I cut some strips and rectangles out to mat under each side, I placed my photo on the left side and the stamped sentiment on to the right hand side.

IMG_1980

Finally I punched some flowers in varying sizes and layered them around my photo and the framed phrase, using a pink gem in the middle of them and sprayed over the middle of the layout with some Peach Kaisermist

I’ve really enjoyed using this 12 x 12 pad for a change and hope you like my creation.

Three Cards using Enchanted

Hi everyone, Denise here today with three cards .My brief was to create three cards with the Enchanted Collection, so here they are..

IMG_1620-RB

i wanted to make three similar cards with differing colour themes, so I set about doing it,

My first was a green one, The cards measured 6×6 inches, so I found some papers in the Paper Pad that were along the same colour lines. I chose papers from the paper pad, die cuts from the Collectables Pack and also stickers from the Sticker Book.IMG_1622

I chose a sentiment for each card from the Collectables Pack and the Sticker Book, then layered collectables and stickers on to the background. These were all mounted on to Foam Tape to give dimension. I inked around the edges with Pine Needles Distress Ink.

Next up was a vintage brown one

IMG_1624

There are some beautiful gold foiled papers in the paper pad, so I used one of these as one of my base layers, again I used papers from the Paper Pad. Using more Collectables I decorated the front then inked around the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink

Last but by no means least I made a red floral themed one.

IMG_1623

Again I layered papers from the Paper Pad on to the front, then chose Collectables to decorate, and this time I used a Curio at the top. To finish off I inked around the edges with Aged Mahogany Distress Ink.

I had fun making these cards, I hope you like them

Cherished with Enchanted

Hi everyone Denise here again with another layout using the Enchanted CollectionIMG_1307RB

This collection is very versatile as I used it for a masculine layout last time and this time i’m going girly!

I started with a piece of Wonder paper, using the plain side, I also left the manufacturer’s strip along the bottom. I then cut a strip from Utopia paper measuring 4 inches wide x 12 inches long and a strip measuring 1/4 of an inch x 12 inches from the red side of Fairytale paper. This was then  adhered on the right hand side of the paper.

Next, I pierced around three sides of the plain paper then stitched around with red thread and using the Stonewall 6×6 stencil and some Aged Mahogany Ink stencilled areas on the paper. I also inked around the edges of the layout.IMG_1150

Once this was done I matted my photo using different papers from the Paper Pad, distressed the edges then placed it roughly in the middle of the layout.

IMG_1305

I used some of the elements from the back of the paper pad to embellish the layout I also fussy cut a little bird from one of the papers in the pad.IMG_1306

Next, I fussy cut some flowers and also used some of the die cuts from the Collectables Pack to layer around the sides and bottom of the photo.  I also used some phrases  from the Paper Pad around  the photo and used some elements from the Sticker Book around the layout .

IMG_1307R

Finally I used some little colour co ordinating bows from my stash to finish off.

Thank you for visiting and do pop back for some more inspiration from the team very soon

Believe with Enchanted

Hello everyone, Denise here today with my first project using the magical  Enchanted Collection IMG_1149 RB2

I thought this collection was perfect to use a photo of my son visiting the Gnome Reserve, fun and magical focusing on using the Stonewall Designer Stencil and Collectables Pack.

First of all I took a sheet of Starry Eyed paper ( using the cobbled side ). I gutted it leaving a one inch frame so I could  then use the paper on something else.

IMG_1139

Once it was cut out I inked around it with some Brushed Corduroy distress ink to tone it down a little.

IMG_1145

Next I took a sheet of Caramel Weave Kaisercard as this was going to be the base of my layout.

I took a sheet of the beautiful Fairytale woodland paper, cut it down by half and inch on two sides and stencilled across the top with distress ink and the Stonewall Stencil.

IMG_1143IMG_1146

After this I adhered it to the caramel card.IMG_1142

Once this was done I adhered the stonewall frame onto the page using foam tape

My photos were mounted on to some of the papers from the Paper Pad.

Finally I decorated around the sides and bottom using lots of collectables from the Collectables Pack and a few stickers from the Sticker Book

IMG_1149 RB

This is a truly magical, versatile collection and the team will be back soon with some great inspiration from this month’s collections.

Blessed with Journey

Hi everyone, Denise here with my last layout using the Journey Kaisercraft collection.

IMG_0876-R-B2

I focused on using the paper pad on this layout, I started by using a sheet of Voyager paper, then cut a sheet of Snow Kaisercard down by one cm on two adjacent sides, then adhered it to the base paper.Next I took the Paper Pad and used three different papers to punch lots of flowers out.

I took some of the Wood Flourishes and painted them with some shimmery paint.

Flourish Pack - Journey Collection

I then used the paint to stencil through a Mini Star Stencil all over the White Kaisercard.

Once this was dry, I placed the flowers cascading down from the top to bottom in a diamond shape, and once I was happy with the placement I adhered them.

My 4 x 4 photo was matted on to two different papers from the Paper Pad and raised up using  Foam Tape to add dimension.

IMG_0862

I also used some Collectables to embellish the layout.

IMG_0876

I also used some Mini Paper Blooms and painted them to match.

To finish off, I added some Gold Rhinestones to the centre of the flowers, some of the paper blooms to the centre of some of the flowers and I flicked some Rose Gold Kaisermist all over.

Thanks for popping by and do pop back soon for some more inspiration from the team.
