Under the Tree with Peppermint Kisses

Hello Kaisercraft fans,

Emmy here today sharing another layout I’ve created using the most adorable Christmas collection – Peppermint Kisses – from Kaisercraft’s September release (available at Merly Impressions’ online store). For my background I used two 12″ pattern papers – Combi Christmas and Holly Jolly. I cut 15 x 30.5 cm panels from both pattern papers and adhered them on top of Kaisercard Snow Weave Cardstock. To hide the “stitch” between the pattern papers, I used the cut-off stirpe from Santa and Co pattern paper.

For the sarklong red stars I used glitter paste and Scattered Stars 6×6 Designer Stencil. Once the glitter paste has dried, I sprayed some KaiserMist Spray Ink – White on top.

To decorate my picture I used a lot of different embellishments. I added pre-cut shapes from the Collectables pack and the Paper Pad…

… fussy cut images from Santa and Co pattern paper and stickers from the Sticker Book.

I used Kaisercard Snow Weave Cardstock and Decorative Die – Texture Burlap to lighten the background behind the large Christmas tree and the Nutcracker (Santa and Co pattern paper). Then I added a smaller Christmas tree from the Flourish Pack matching the collection. The cute little Christmas bell button comes from the Curios pack and I added also extra rhinestones to decorate my embellishments (Rhinestones – Island Lagoon, Rhinestones – Deep Yellow and Rhinestones – Red).

Christmas Cards with Peppermint Kisses

Hello Kaisercraft fans,

Emmy here today sharing my second project for October. With Christmas only two months away, I decided that it is time to begin with my Christmas cards. And what better collection to do so than Kaisercraft’s Peppermint Kisses collection (available at Merly Impressions’ online store). For my card bases I used Kaisercard Snow Weave Cardstock and Kaisercard Crimson Weave Cardstock. I hand-cut the card bases, so they would fit my design. The pattern paper panels on top I cut from pattern papers from the Paper Pad. I gave one of my cards a lacey edge using an edge punch and I stamped on the pattern paper panels of two of my cards using Kaisercraft Tiny Dot clear stamp and Ink Pad – Bark. To adhere all the different layers together, I used Mounting Foam Tape and Mounting Foam Dots.

To create my designs I used fussy cut images from the Paper Pad, pre-cut embellishments from the Collectables pack and stickers from the Sticker Book. I also added some die-cut embellishments using Kaisercard Crimson Weave Cardstock and Kaisercraft Decorative Die – Texture Diamonds. As a final touch I added Rhinestones – Deep Yellow and Rhinestones – Red and I sprinkled KaiserMist Spray Ink – White on top of all layers.

‘Tis the Season with Peppermint Kisses

Hello Kaisercraft fans,

Emmy here today sharing my fist project for October. This month I have the pleasure of designing with the cutest Christmas collection ever – Peppermint Kisses – from Kaisercraft’s September release (available at Merly Impressions’ online store).

For my background I used two 12″ pattern papers – Under the Tree and Minty. I cut a 14 x 30.5 cm panel from the Under the Tree pattern paper and a 16.5 x 30.5 cm panel from the Minty pattern paper. I adhered both panels on a Kaisercard Snow Weave Cardstock. To hide the “stitch” between the pattern papers, I used a cut-off stirpe from another paper.

To create the white dimensional pattern I used the Scattered Stars 6×6 Designer Stencil and Texture Paste. Once the Texture Paste has dried, I added extra colourful splashes using KaiserMist Spray Ink – Gold Shimmer.

To decorate my page I used pre-cut embellishments from the Collectables pack, fussy cut images from different pattern papers from the Paper Pad and stickers from the Sticker Book.

I used Kaisercard White Premium Cardstock and Kaisercraft Snowflakes decorative die to create the white embellishments. The “wish” button comes from the Collectables pack and the “present” button is from the Curios pack.The large Santa I fussy cut from the Santa and Co pattern paper. I fussy cut the nutcracker from a glossy pattern paper from the Paper Pad. For the title stripes I used a cut off stipe from a 12″ pattern paper and stickers from the Sticker Book. As a final touch I added Rhinestones – Island Lagoon, Rhinestones – Deep Yellow and Rhinestones – Red.

Season’s Greetings with Let it Snow

Hello Kaisercraft fans,

Emmy here today sharing my fist project for September. This month I have the pleasure of designing with the lovely Let It Snow collection featuring silver foil accents, Nordic frosty designs and shimmering colours (available at Merly Impressions’ online store). For my background I used Shimmering pattern paper and pattern papers from the Paper Pad. I cut two 8 x 15.3 cm stripes from a stripy paper, distressed their edges using a Paper Distresser and adhered them at the left hand side of a Kaisercard Snow Weave Cardstock. Then I cut a 20.5 x 30.5 cm panel from Shimmering pattern paper, distressed its edges and adhered it next to the stripy papers (Kaisercraft 12mm Double-sided Tape).

Using Scattered Stars 6×6 Designer Stencil and Texture Paste I created the white dimensional pattern. Once the Texture Paste has dried, I added extra pattern using Clear Stamp – Lattice and Ink Pad – Black.

I matted my picture on a slightly larger panel of Kaisercard White Premium Cardstock. The second layer under the picture I created using pattern paper from the Paper Pad. To adhere all the layers I used Mounting Foam Tape. To decorate my page I used pre-cut foil embellishments from the Collectables pack and die-cut images (Kaisercard White Premium Cardstock and pattern papers from the Paper Pad; decorative dies – Vintage Clocks, Snowflakes). For my title I used a cut off stripe from one of the pattern papers, which I layered on top of a slightly larger panel of white cardstock. For the sub-title I used a phrase from the Clear Sticker Sheet – Seasons Greetings. As a final touch I added Rhinestones – Aquamarine .

Treasured Friend with Magenta

Hello Kaisercraft fans,

Emmy here today sharing my last project for August featuring the wonderful Magenta Collection from Kaisercraft’s July release (available at Merly Impressions’ online store). This week I created a boyish layout showing how by changing one colour in a collection, you can give a completely different look and feel to your projects. For my background I used Kaisercard Caribbean Weave Cardstock and pattern papers. I cut two 7 x 29 cm stripes from the Rosa pattern paper, distressed their edges using a Paper Distresser and adhered them at the top and at the bottom of the cardstock (Kaisercraft 12mm Double-sided Tape). The I took two black paged from the Paper Pad, adjusted their size to fit in the middle, distressed their edges and adhered them on top of the cardstock.

Then, using Distressed Dots 6×6 Designer Stencil and Texture Paste I created the white dimensional pattern. I matted my picture on a slightly larger panel of Kaisercard Snow Weave Cardstock. The I used pattern paper stripes and die cut edges from the Paper Pad to create the layers under it. To decorate my page I carefully selected black and white pre-cut embellishments from the Collectables pack and black and white fussy cut flowers from the Pink pattern paper. Using Kaisercard Caribbean Weave Cardstock and Kaisercraft decorative dies (Double Bubble, Geo tags and Treasured Words) I die cut the greenish embellishments and the words for my title. To adhere the different embellishments I used Mounting Foam Tape. As a final touch I added Epoxy Stickers – Sea Breeze and Rhinestones – Black .I hope you enjoyed today’s post!

Beautiful with Magenta

Emmy here today sharing another project created with the amazing Magenta Collection from Kaisercraft’s July release (available at Merly Impressions’ online store).For my background I used Fuchsia pattern paper. Using Kaisercraft Lace Doily Mini Designer Stencil and Texture Paste I created the white dimensional pattern. Once the paste has dried, I sprinkled KaiserMist Spray Ink – Rose Gold on top of it.

I used a slightly larger panel of Kaisercard Snow Weave Cardstock to frame my picture. To create the layers under it I used different pattern papers from the Paper Pad. I shaped their edges with a doily edge punch. To design the flower corners I used fussy cut blossoms from the Pink pattern paper and from pattern papers from the Paper Pad, with die cut flowers from the Collectables pack and Kaisercraft blooms (Paper Blooms – Fuchsia). I added also cut sayings from the Collectables pack. For my title I used a pre cut word from the Collectables pack. To adhere it to my page I used Mounting Foam Tape. As a final touch I added more Rhinestones – Hot Pink and Rhinestones – Black.

Happy Together with Magenta

Hello Kaisercraft fans,

Emmy here today sharing my first project for August, featuring the wonderful Magenta Collection from Kaisercraft’s July release (available at Merly Impressions’ online store).

To create my background I used Flamingo pattern paper and a pattern paper from the Paper Pad matching the collection. I cut the smaller pattern paper in two and adhered the two halves on top of the pattern paper as shown. Then using Kaisercraft Butterfly Skies Mini Template and Texture Paste I created the white dimensional pattern.

Once the paste has dried, I stamped the dotted pattern using Ink Pad – Black and Kaisercraft Tiny Dot Texture Stamp. I used a slightly larger panel of Kaisercard Magenta Weave Cardstock to frame my picture. Then I created the layers under is using different pattern papers from the Paper Pad. I fussy cut different blossoms from the Pink pattern paper and from pattern papers from the Paper Pad. I used them in combination with die cut flowers from the Collectables pack and Kaisercraft blooms (Paper Blooms – Fuchsia) to create the flower corners. I added die cut bubbles (Decorative Die – Double Bubble) and cute sayings (Collectables pack). I adhered all the embellishments as shown using Mounting Foam Tape. For my title I used the pre cut words from the Collectables pack. I adhered them to my page using Mounting Foam Tape.

As a final touch I added more Rhinestones – Hot Pink and Rhinestones – Black.I hope I managed to inspire you today! Come back soon for more creative projects from our design team!

Be Fearless layout with Antiquities

Hello Kaisercraft fans,

Emmy here today sharing my last project for June, featuring of course the amazing Antiquities Collection from Kaisercraft (available at Merly Impressions’ online store) and Kaisercraft Designer Stencil. For my background I used Rare pattern paper and Treasured pattern paper. I cut a 17 x 30,5 cm stripe from the Rare pattern paper and a 13,5 x 30,5 cm stripe from the Treasured pattern paper, distressed three of their edges using a Paper Distresser and adhered both stripes on top of Kaisercard Dove Weave Cardstock.

Using Kaisercraft Distressed Dots 6×6 Designer Stencil and Texture Paste I created the white dimensional pattern. Once the paste has dried, I sprinkled KaiserMist Spray Ink – Gold Shimmer on top.

I used a slightly larger panel of Kaisercard Snow Weave Cardstock to frame my picture. Then I created the layers under is using glossy and foil paper from the Paper Pad and stickers from the Sticker book. Tip! Use the pattern of the different pattern papers to fussy cut your own tailor made edges and shapes!

Using the One of a Kind pattern paper and a pattern papers from the Paper Pad I fussy cut different colours flowers. I added die cut flowers from the Collectables pack and Kaisercraft blooms (Paper Blooms – Honey and Paper Blooms – Sage) to create the flower corners. I added die cut bubbles (Decorative Die – Double Bubble and Kaisercard Snow Weave Cardstock) and cute sayings (Collectables pack). I inked the edges of the pre cut embellishments with Ink Pad – Bark and adhered them as shown using Mounting Foam Tape. For my title I used the cut off stripe from one of the pattern papers. I divided the quote in four pieces, inked the edges of the stripes with Ink Pad – Bark and adhered it to my page using Mounting Foam Tape. As a final touch I added more Rhinestones – Orange and Pearls – Pewter.I hope I managed to inspire you today!

Perfect 7 layout with Antiquities

Emmy here today sharing my second project for June, featuring the Antiquities Collection from Kaisercraft’s May 2019 release (available at Merly Impressions’ online store). This time I decided to create a boyish layout using both fussy cut and die cut embellishments. For my background I used Kaisercard Concrete Weave Cardstock and the Limited Edition pattern paper. I cut the pattern paper in stripes and inked their edges with Ink Pad – Bark. Then I distressed the long edges of the stripes using a Paper Distresser and adhered them to the cardstock using Mounting Foam Tape.

Using Kaisercraft Distressed Dots 6×6 Designer Stencil and Texture Paste I created the white dimensional pattern. Once the paste has dried, I sprinkled KaiserMist Spray Ink – Gold Shimmer on top. To decorate my page I die cut distressed burlap using Decorative Die – Texture Burlap and Kaisercard Concrete Weave Cardstock. Then i fussy cut the decorative edge from a glossy paper from the Paper Pad. Then I created a 3D-effect adhering fussy cut rhomboids using Mounting Foam Tape. As a final touch I added Rhinestones – Orange.

I added also pre cut embellishments from the Collectables pack and the Paper Pad, and stickers from the Sticker book matching the collection. Before adhering them with Mounting Foam Tape, I inked their edges using Ink Pad – Bark. As a final touch I added more Rhinestones – Orange and Pearls – Pewter.

Favourite Snapshot layout with Antiquities

Emmy here today sharing my first project for June, featuring the Antiquities Collection from Kaisercraft’s May 2019 release (available at Merly Impressions’ online store). For my background I used the Antique pattern paper. Using Kaisercraft Distressed Dots 6×6 Designer Stencil and Texture Paste I created the white dimensional pattern. Once the paste has dried, I sprinkled KaiserMist Spray Ink – Gold Shimmer on top of all layers. I cut paper stripes from a shabby wood pattern paper from the Paper Pad, inked their edges with Ink Pad – Bark and distressed their edges using a Paper Distresser. I adhered the stripes next to each other as shown (using Mounting Foam Tape) to create the base for my picture.To decorate my page I used pre-cut images from different pattern papers from the Paper Pad and from the Collectables pack. I fussy cut the yellow flowers from the One of a Kind pattern paper and arranged them around my picture as shown. I used Mounting Foam Tape to adhere them. I added also die cut embellishments (Decorative Die – Texture Burlap and pattern papers from the Paper Pad)… .. and stickers from the Sticker book matching the collection. As a final touch I added Rhinestones – Orange and little wooden birds from Kaisercraft’s little packs with Wood Flourishes.
