With Christmas approaching fast we thought you may like to see some fabulous festive projects from our friend Emma Williams.

Emma has used Kaisercraft’s beautiful ‘Tis the Season collection in this trio of very merry projects. She has also used a selection of Tim Holtz products including Rosette Dies and Distress Stickles to create a wonderfully opulent Christmas look for her Tag, Gift Box and Christmas Card.

Our friend Emma Williams recently made some fabulous cards using the Kaisercraft Velvet Ensemble collection and had them featured in Making Cards magazine. She has been good enough to send us some images of them.

The cards each use Velvet Ensemble in different ways but we think each displays the distinctive, timeless sophistication of the original collection. Emma has also added a few additional details such as a ribbon bow and some paper blooms.

With Halloween fast approaching we thought we would share these fabulous spooky projects designed by Emma Williams.

Emma has used papers from Kaisercraft’s wonderfully spooky 13th Hour collection as the basis for her card. She’s also used the clear stamps and printed chipboard from the same collection and added other elements including some vintage ribbon and the number “13″ from a Tim Holtz Alteration die. For more details of how Emma made the card check this post on her blog.

Emma’s second project is this superb Door Hanger. Again, it features Kaisercraft’s 13th Hour papers and printed chipboard and also features some Tim Holtz products including an Alteration Die and Rock Candy Distress Stickles. More details can be found on Emma’s blog.

The Lullaby collection is gorgeous – I love the delicate patterns and the fact that the collection works perfectly for a baby boy or a girl. The little pram stamp that comes in the Lullaby Clear Stamp pack is especially cute and I just had to use that, and the frame from the same set, on some baby cards.

The pram has been stamped on the same paper that I used on the card and then layered up to give a dimensional effect. Rhinestones, some ribbon and stitching around the edges (using the WRMK Sew Easy Stitch Piercer) finish the card off.

I used the following products to make the cards:

We are pleased to now stock some wonderful stamps from Stampotique Originals. We’ve chosen more than 60 designs from three different artists each with their own characteristic style.

From the versatile designs of the British artist Jo Capper-Sandon and the cute, flowery designs of Janet Klein to the funky and somewhat gothic style of Jill Penney and Daniel Torrente, these fabulous stamps include something for everyone.

Stampotique Originals stamps

Each of these highly detailed Stampotique Originals stamps are produced from deeply etched rubber mounted onto solid maple wood blocks for stability and long-life. You can find these beautiful stamps on the Merly Impressions website in there own special Stampotique section.

I have a few family birthdays coming up so thought I had better get on and make some cards. I love the Kaisercraft mini Butterflies Stamp so decided to use that to make some pretty, girly cards.

I didn’t want to just add Happy Birthday to each card so instead used Kaisercraft’s Mini Clear stamps. They are perfect for adding something a little bit different to cards – there are over 20 stamps to choose from and some have four sentiments in the pack. I also used the Kaisercraft Journal Background Texture Stamp in the centre of each card.

Butterfly Cards

All the Butterflies were stamped and then cut out, Crystal Lacquered and then layered up and decorated with rhinestones to give a sparkly, dimensional look.

The stitching around the edge of each card is done using the WRMK Sew Easy tool using a different stitch head for each card. To get the stitching fairly straight I ran the tool along the edge of a ruler which seemed to work well.

Here is a list of the products used in this project:

For these cards I used sentiments from two Kaisercraft Mini Clear Stamps sets (although many others are available) :

Here are a couple of cards I’ve made recently to show how versatile Kaisercrafts Prairie Lane Collection can be. While the colours of these papers can be quite masculine, they can also be used to create some very feminine effects.

The card on the left was made using part of the Sunny Grove paper (P440) while the card on the right features parts of both the back and front of the Spring Acres paper (P444).

Prairie Lane Cards

In both cases I’ve added bronze rhinestones (SB776) and sed a stamp from the Prairie Lane Clear Stamp Set (CS732) to create a frame for some simple words. I’ve also created a multi petal flower using two colours of Kaisercraft paper flowers, Blue Ice (F615) and Ivory Cream (F602), and highlighted it with a brown Kaisercraft Ink Pad (IP708).
