So Sweet with Sage and Grace

Hello Kaisercraft fans!

It’s Emmy here with my second post for June. Since this month I’m working with the lovely Kaisercraft’s “Sage and Grace”collection (available at Merly Impressions’ online store), I thought a pink and girly layout would be perfect for the picture of my pink and girly niece.

To assemble my background I cut a 10 x 30 cm stripe from the Blush pattern paper and a 20 x 30 cm stripe from the Pink Peony pattern paper, I distressed their edges and adhered them to a Kaisercard Coconut Weave Cardstock. To hide the overlap I used a sticker border from the Sticker Sheet. Then using the Clear Stamp – Lattice I created the brown pattern around my picture. Once the ink has dried, I sprinkled KaiserMist White and Antique Gold on top.MI-So-sweet-web-530MI-So-Sweet-det- (1)MI-So-Sweet-det- (2)I used a slightly larger piece from the Pink Peony pattern paper – the pink side – to mat the picture.

To decorate my picture I used framed quotes from the the Paper Pad and the Collectables pack. I adhered them with Mounting Foam TapeMI-So-Sweet-det- (5) MI-So-Sweet-det- (6)

I die cut the leaves using pattern paper, Kaisercard Coconut Weave Cardstock, gold cardstock and different Kaisercraft Decorative Dies – Mini Foliage and Foliage. I added a layer of Cheesecloth Gauze at the top of the photograph and arranges the flower cluster on top of it –  Paper Blooms – Dusty Pink and Mini Paper Blooms – Coconut.MI-So-Sweet-det- (3) MI-So-Sweet-det- (4) MI-So-Sweet-det- (8)

To finish my design I added Rub-ons corners and Rhinestones – Champagne.

I hope I managed tom inspire you today!

Have a wonderful creative weekend!
