Letters from Santa Scrapbook Layout

Good morning everyone.

Elaine here again bringing you a layout using the beautiful, traditional Letters From Santa newly released collection.

imageTo create this page I used the Poinsettia Garland sheet as my base and cut it down to a piece 11″ x 11″. I kept the 1″ strip for use later. I then mounted it on to a piece of gutted Be Merry paper. I then punched two sections along the edge of the first paper.

imageI then took a 6″ square of the Holly and Berries paper and mounted it centrally with the 1″ strip of the Poinsettia Garland paper that we saved earlier across the middle. I inked all the sections with the Vintage ink pad.

I then took a piece of Moss Weave Kaisercard and mounted all the photos. These were placed centrally and a further two at angles as shown. I then took the Holly embossing folder and used a section of the Moss Weave card and embossed it, cutting it into triangles to make the bunting that I then added to the top of the page. I followed the line of the printed garland with Cherry Red Cord and added the embossed triangles. I also inked the edges with the same Vintage ink pad. As a final flourish to the bunting I used a pen from the Kaisercolour Gel Pens to highlight some of the raised elements and added some Lippy Red Rhinestones in between each flag.

imageFor the cluster in the top right hand corner I used collectables from the Letters from Santa Collectables Pack and the Poinsettia Decorative Die for the large flower and leaves. I also used the gel pens to again highlight some of the raised features.

imageI used Deep Yellow Rhinestones for the centre of the Poinsettias at the top and bottom corners and I added a flourish of the Red Hemp Cord in the top cluster.

imageI finished with some more red rhinestones as berries on some the holly and a journalling tag from the collectables pack.

imageI loved looking back on my photos from last year to create this layout and this fabulous collection really did them justice. I look forward to seeing your layouts too.

imageEnjoy!

Elaine
