Karen here with my second page using the lovely Pen and Ink Kaisercraft collection. I love how this range looks just as beautiful using coloured photographs as well as vintage or black and white ones.
I started with a piece of Licorice cardstock, placed a medium sized plate in the centre and drew around this. I added a 6 x 4 piece of card where I wanted my photo to be. I then cut two of the phrase stickers into pieces and arranged them around the circle.
I used the butterfly from the Pen and Ink stamp set and some Walnut Stain ink to stamp three butterflies – two onto the reverse of Chandelier and one onto the reverse of Layered. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at how large the butterfly stamp was.
Next I added a piece of the lacy border strip from the sticker sheet to the bottom right of my page. After adding my photo, tucking it under one of the butterflies, I added flowers and butterflies from the Collectables pack to the top right and bottom left. I roughly cut lots of butterflies from the Etchings paper, until I had enough to go around the words circle.
I ‘fussy cut’ these out. As you can see above, I originally planned to have butterflies from the sticker sheet at the top right and bottom left of my page but changed my mind in the end.
The last thing to do was to add a phrase from one of the branding strips at the bottom of the papers as my title and to cut apart the butterfly border sticker and add these small butterflies to the flower clusters above and to the left of my photo.
I cannot emphasise how gorgeous this paper range is and my photographs certainly do not do it justice.
