Aloha with Paradise Found

Hello Kaisercraft fans,

Emmy here today sharing my last post for MArch featuring the amazing Paradise Found collection from Kaisercraft (available at Merly Impressions’ online store).MI-aloha-web-530To create my background I used the Chase the Sun pattern paper. I added the extra dimensional white pattern using Mini Mix 12×12 Designer Stencil and Texture Paste. Once the Texture Paste has dried, I sprinkled KaiserMist Spray Ink – Turquoise on top. MI-aloha-det-a

To create the layers under my picture I used pattern papers from the Paper Pad. I fussy cut the leafy borders and distress the edges of the other papers using Paper Distresser. I adhered all the layers together using Mounting Foam Tape.

I layered my picture on a slightly larger panel of Kaisercard Snow Weave Cardstock and adhered it on top. The banner under the picture I took from the White Sands pattern paper. Before adhering it on its place, I inked its edges using Ink Pad – BarkMI-aloha-det-b

To give more ‘volume’ to the leaves-edges, I fussy cut different leaves from a glossy paper from the Paper Pad and added some pre-cut ones from the Collectables Pack as well.MI-aloha-det-c MI-aloha-det-d

To embellish my layout I added die cut bubbles (Decorative Die – Double Bubble and Kaisercard Snow Weave Cardstock) and a few of the Curios matching the collection. I also used pre-cut embellishments from the Collectables Pack and sayings from the Paper PadMI-aloha-det-e MI-aloha-det-fI ‘glittered’ (Stickles – Sprinkled Sugar) the die cut ALOHA word from the Collectables Pack to make it pop. Once the glitter has dried, I adhered it with Mounting Foam Dots.  MI-aloha-det-gTo finish off my page I added Rhinestones – Mint Green and Epoxy Stickers – Sea BreezeMI-aloha-det-h MI-aloha-det-iI hope I managed to inspire you today!

Have a wonderful creative week!
