Art Documented with Pen and Ink

Hello Kaisercraft fans!

Emmy here today with my second post for May. As you may know, this month I have the opportunity to create with the fabulous Pen and Ink collection from Kaisercraft (available at Merly Impressions’ online store). For today’s post I decided to use the Round Frame die-cut paper included in this collection.

To create the ‘frame’ for my design I used the Round Frame die-cut paper. I carefully separated the inner circle using a crafting knife and adhered it on a slightly larger circle from Kaisercard Coconut Weave Cardstock. Then, using Mini Designer Stencil Speckles and Texture Paste I created the white dimensional layer. I sprinkled some KaiserMist Spray Ink – Antique Gold on top and added a fancy sticker border from the Sticker SheetMI-the-best-thing-det-a (2) MI-the-best-thing-det-a (4)

I removed a few of the white spots from the frame and once everything has dried, I adhered it back using Mounting Foam Tape.MI-the-best-thing-det-a (1) MI-the-best-thing-det-c

To decorate my page I used different pattern papers from the Paper pad and different pre-cut elements from the Collectables Pack. I adhered all the embellishments using Mounting Foam Tape.MI-the-best-thing-det-d (6) MI-the-best-thing-det-d (4)For my title I used a saying from the Sticker Sheet and fussy cut butterflies from a foil paper from the Paper pad.MI-the-best-thing-det-d (5)

As a final touch I added Rhinestones – Black and Rhinestones – Silver and Stickles – Sprinkled Sugar.MI-the-best-thing-det-d (3) MI-the-best-thing-det-d (2) MI-the-best-thing-det-d (1)
