Art Documented with Pen and Ink

Hello Kaisercraft fans!

Emmy here today with my first post for May. This month I have the pleasure to design with the amazing Pen and Ink collection from Kaisercraft (available at Merly Impressions’ online store).

For my background I used Kaisercard Elephant Ears Weave Cardstock and different pattern papers. I cut off a 14 x 30,5 cm stripe from the Layered pattern paper and a 16,5 x 30,5 cm stripe from the Stamps pattern paper. I distressed their edges with Paper distresser and adhered them on top of the cardstock using Kaisercraft 12mm Double-sided Tape. To cover the middle line I adhered a stripe sticker on top from the Sticker Sheet.

To create the white dimensional layer I used Collage 6×6 Designer Stencil and Texture Paste. Once the paste has dried I sprinkled KaiserMist Spray Ink – Antique Gold and I stamped the butterfly corner using Ink Pad – Black and Kaisercraft Clear Stamp Texture Botanical.

To create the layers under my picture I used pattern papers from the Paper pad and different pre-cut elements from the Collectables Pack. I adhered all the different layers using Mounting Foam Tape.

To decorate my page I added sticker words from the Sticker Sheet and fussy cut butterflies form the Antiques foil paper and a foil paper from the Paper pad.

For my title I used We R Memory Keepers Mini Alphabet Punch board and Kaisercard Licorice Weave Cardstock. I decorated the letters with Pearls – Chino and adhered them to my background using Mounting Foam Dots.

As a final touch I added Rhinestones – Black.

I hope you enjoyed today’s post!

Have a wonderful creative week!
