Hello Kaisercraft fans,
Emmy here today with my first project for April, featuring the wonderful Greenhouse collection from Kaisercraft (available at Merly Impressions’ online store). To create my background I used the Jade Plant pattern paper. I cut the paper in two and distressed two of the edges using a Paper Distresser. Then I fussy cut the flower border from the Rosette pattern paper and added it next to flower pattern of the background paper. Once everything was in place, I added the extra dimensional white pattern using Kaisercraft Speckles Mini Designer Template and Texture Paste. When the texture paste has dried, I carefully separated part of the flowers and I tucked in a greenish pattern paper from the Paper Pad under them. I layered my picture on top. To decorate my picture I used pre cut edges and shapes from the Paper Pad and the Collectables pack. I adhered the embellishments using Mounting Foam Tape.
I fussy cut the flowers from the Terrariums pattern paper, the Succulents pattern paper and the Paper Pad. I used a glossy pattern paper from the Paper Pad to create the 3D – succulents – they are perfect if you wish to give extra volume to your project. For the title and the sub-title I used stickers from the Sticker book. I adhered them on top of a die cut border (Texture Die – Diamonds and Kaisercard Snow Weave Cardstock) using Mounting Foam Tape.
As a final touch I added die cut butterflies and Pearls – Blush.
I hope you enjoyed today’s post!
Have a wonderful creative week!
