Hello Kaisercraft fans!
Emmy here today with my last post for May. As you may know, this month I had the absolute pleasure to design with the amazing Pen and Ink collection from Kaisercraft (available at Merly Impressions’ online store). For today’s post I decided to create boyish layout, using various pre-cut embellishments and die-cut shapes.
For my background I used Kaisercard Coconut Weave Cardstock and different pattern papers. I cut off a 16,5 x 30,5 cm stripe from the Layered pattern paper and a 14 x 30,5 cm stripe from the Stamps pattern paper. I distressed their edges with Paper distresser and adhered them on top of the cardstock using Kaisercraft 12mm Double-sided Tape. To cover the middle line I adhered a stripe sticker on top from the Sticker Sheet.
To create the white dimensional layer I used Collage 6×6 Designer Stencil and Texture Paste. Once the paste has dried I sprinkled KaiserMist Spray Ink – Antique Gold and KaiserMist Spray Ink – Lime Green. To create the layers under my picture I took pattern papers from the Paper pad and shaped their edges using an edge punch. Then I added pre-cut elements from the Collectables Pack and stickers from the sticker sheet. To adhere the different layers I used Mounting Foam Tape. To decorate my page I added different die cut shapes using Kaisercard Coconut Weave Cardstock, Kaisercard Licorice Weave Cardstock and Kaisercraft dies (Diamonds texture Die, Film Edges Die).
After securing the die-cut word on its place I added Stickles – Sprinkled Sugar on top.
I hope I managed to inspire you today!
