Emmy here with a new layout and a short tutorial to share. This month I have the pleasure to work with the lovely Kaisercraft collection “Wildflower” (available at Merly Impressions online store). To create my background I used a mini designer stencil, embossing ink and gold embossing powder and here is how I did it.
Step 1: Mark the position of your picture/s on Fleur pattern paper.
Step 2: Create a pattern using Foliage Mini Designer Stencil and embossing ink.Step 3: Add embossing powder and heat emboss the set. Then stamp a frame around Kaisercard Coconut Weave Cardstock using Clear Stamp – Film Edges and brown ink, and adhere the pattern paper (after distressing its edges) on top of it using Kaisercraft 12mm Double-sided Tape.To decorate my picture I fussy cut flowers (In Bloom pattern paper) and butterflies (Wings pattern paper) and form the Paper Pad. I decorated the butterflies with Pearls – Snow, embossed them slightly and adhered them using Mounting Foam Tape. I added stickers from the Sticker Sheet and die cut embellishments from the Collectables pack. I used Kaisercard Coffee Bean Weave Cardstock and Decorative Die – Birds and Cages. I tied the cage with pink hemp cord and Metallic Hemp Cord, Copper. To decorate the flower corner I die cut leaves using Kaisercard Coffee Bean Weave Cardstock, Kaisercard Coconut Weave Cardstock, Decorative Die – Foliage and Decorative Die – Mini Foliage. I embellished he larger leaves with Epoxy Stickers – Candy. For my title I used a pink banner from the Gathered pattern paper. As a final touch I sprinkled KaiserMist Spray Ink – White and KaiserMist Spray Ink – Antique Gold on top of all layers, while protecting my picture with a piece of paper.I hope you enjoyed today’s post!
Have a wonderful creative week!
