Karen here with my first April page using the utterly gorgeous Misty Mountains range. How beautiful are the papers in this collection with all the stunning purple and rust hues?
For this page I featured the Hexagon die cut paper. First I cut a ¾ in frame from a piece of Moody and mounted a piece of white card, that had been trimmed down to 11½ in square, onto the top of that.
I drew a 1 in border around the Hexagon die cut paper and cut this out. Then the hexagon frame was backed with the piece of Moody and the excess trimmed away. I only adhered the frame at the outer edge so that I would be able to tuck flowers underneath.
I trimmed a piece of the light coloured marbled paper, from the 6½ x 6½ paper pad to 5 ins square and added my photo to this, which was then tucked under the top left of my hexagonal frame.
To finish I added a title, a couple of tags and some phrases all from the Collectables pack.
Looking forward to showing you my next project
