Hello Kaisercraft fans,
Emmy here today with my first post for October. This month I have the pleasure of working with an unusual, but very stylish Christmas collection from Kaisercraft – Christmas Edition (available at Merly Impressions’ online store).
To create the background I layered the Snowcapped pattern paper on top of Kaisercard Coconut Weave Cardstock. Before adhering the two layers together, I distressed the edges of the pattern paper and added a dimensional layer using Damask Quarters 12×12 Stencil and Texture Paste. As a final touch I sprinkled silver ink on top of it.To decorate my page I used sticker phrases from the Sticker Sheet matching the collection.
I coloured some of the die cuts using Kaisercolour Gel Pens – red with glitter.
To create the decoration corner above my picture I fussy cut different foil embellishments from a foil pattern paper from the Paper Pad and die cut the large swirl using Foliage Decorative Die and Kaisercard Coconut Weave Cardstock. I added Rhinestones – Lippy Red as a final touch.
For the layers under my picture I used pattern papers from the Paper Pad.
I hope you enjoyed today’s post!
Have a lovely creative week!
