You Fill My Life With Happiness with With Love

Hello, Karen here with my final project using the absolutely beautiful With Love collection.  I wanted to use the gorgeous gold foiled butterflies from the All My Love paper and thought it would be fun to have them ‘bursting’ out from the top of my page.

For this layout I have used All My Love, Someone Special, Thinking of You and Hugs and Kisses papers, Snow Weave cardstock, 6.5 x 6.5 paper pad, Collectables Mounting Foam dots and Blush Pearls.

I started by cutting .5 in from the top and one side of the Thinking of You paper and cutting a 5 in  slit, 5.75 from the left of this paper.  Next I cut a 6 x 11.5 in piece of Someone Special paper and adhered it to the top of my Snow Weave cardstock leaving a .25in border at the top and both sides.

I stuck the Thinking of You  paper on top of this and folded back each side of the slit to reveal the Someone Special paper beneath.  I added a small staple to the top left and right of this paper to hold it in place and used Mounting Foam dots to secure the folded pieces down.

After cutting all the butterflies from the All My Love and the corresponding paper from the  6.5 x 6.5 paper pad, I arranged them under the folded back paper so that they appeared to be ‘bursting’ out.

Next I cut one of the square frames from Hugs and Kisses  and added it centrally at the bottom of my page. My photo was added to this, on Mounting Foam dots which I placed about .5inch in from the edge of my photo.   I then added a row of fussy cut butterflies to the bottom of my page.

I embellished my photo with a scalloped border from the 6.5 x 6.5 paper pad, and a row of butterflies from the Collectables pack.  Finally I created two clusters using elements from both the 6.5 x 6.5 paper pad and Collectables pack, adding two fussy cut butterflies for continuity.  The final flurish was to add Blush Pearls to the embellishments above my photo.

I have loved using this collection and also used it for a challenge layout at a recent retreat, which I won a prize for!
