Hello, Karen here with my final project for January using the Oh Happy Day collection from Kaisercraft.
This time I decided to make a multi-photo layout using lots of Curios, Collectables, Stickers and pop-outs from the 6.5 x 6.5 paper pad. They were perfect for clustering in a circle around my five photos.
For this layout I have used Party Popper, 100’s and 1000’s and Starlight 12 x 12 papers, Curios, collectables, sticker book, 6.5 x 6.5 paper pad, Lemonade Kaisercard, Sea Breeze Alpha , silver rhinestones and Fireworks stencil.
I started by cutting the Party Popper and 100’s and 1000’s paper diagonally and then cutting .25 in from both the straight sides. This was adhered to the Lemonade Kaisercard with a .5 in wide piece of Starlight covering the join. I drew a pencil circle on the middle of my page and added the words ‘Birthday Tea’ using Sea Breeze Alpha.
I added my five photos to the circle then used the Fireworks stencil and some texture paste to add little bursts to my page. I only spread the paste through individual bursts so that I was able to easily determine where they would be placed.
All that remained was to fill in the circle around my photos using stickers, pop outs from the 6.5 x 6.5 sticker book, collectables, elements cut from the 6.5 x 6.5 paper pad and I cut the words from some of the bingo cards on the 100’s and 1000’s paper. I also dotted some silver rhinestones around the page.
To finish my page I added three Curios to the centre of three of the bursts.
The ‘Party’ banner, from the collectables pack, was a perfect finish to my page.
