Celebrate the little things

Hi Everyone,

Linda here with a cute floral frame project created with the lovely Kaisercraft POP collection.

I began with a Kaisercraft Beyond the page MDF frame which i painted with Orange paint and covered with a piece of Sunshine cardstock embossed with the new Kaisercraft folders – this one is called Weave. I cut a piece of Balloons and punched the edge with a Martha Stewart punch to overlap on the right hand side, then moved onto the frame.

This was also painted orange then rubbed over with some Hot Pink paint.

I stamped the edge with a Kaisercraft Woodgrain stamp Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Black soot.

The two pieces were joined using a wet glue and set aside to dry.

I then set about making flowers using various punches from my collection and cutting leaves and Foliage with the beautiful new Kaisercraft dies. The papers are – Polka for the roses and smaller blooms plus Party Time for the daisies. For the Foliage and leaves I used Lolipop and white cardstock.

The plaque was made using dies from my collection, the message was stamped onto Frosting but didn’t fit into my die so I cut around the letters which would be outside and pushed them through the die before cutting as below. This was backed with Tangerine cardstock.

The fun part was placing all the flowers and stems into the frame as below –

I added lots of bling with delicious Diamond Stickles – my favourite all time, lots of gorgeous Orange Rhinestones and some Crystal Lacquer.

With the addition of a D-ring hanger the back I think this would make a fabulous present for a friend or family member – I wonder who the lucky recipient will be?

I really hope you have enjoyed this project!

Look out for more inspiration from the team coming soon.

~ Linda ~
