Hello Kaisercraft fans,
Emmy here today with my last post featuring the lovely Christmas Jewel collection from Kaisercraft (available at Merly Impressions’ online store). For this week my assignment was to create off-the-page project and since this collection is filled with foil papers and silver embellishments, I’ve decided to create elegant paper ornaments for the Christmas tree. For the base of the ornaments I used a shape die and Kaisercard Coconut Weave Cardstock. Once I’ve due-cut the base, I coloured it with Mini Ink Pad – Orchid and left it aside to dry. Then I die-cut the same share, but from a foil paper from the Paper Pad, removed the swirls and adhered it with Kaisercraft 12mm Double-sided Tape to the base. I die-cut the rosettes using Tim Holtz die and Prancing foil paper. I attached them to the ornaments using Mounting Foam Tape.
To decorate the ornaments further, I’ve used die-cut foil embellishments from the Collectables pack, pre-cut quotes from the Paper Pad and and sticker words from the Sticker Sheet. As a final touch I’ve added Rhinestones – Silver and Rhinestones – Lilac and a bow from white organza ribbon. I hope you enjoyed today’s post!
