Cards with Silent Night

Hello everyone,

Denise here with two cards using the amazing Silent Night Kaisercraft Collection

The first card was made using a white 7×7 card. I matted some Forest Weave Kaisercard onto the card then matted some papers from the 6.5 x6.5  paper pad, one being a beautiful embossed paper.

I used Aged Mahogany Distress Ink to ink around the edges of the script paper.

Next I stamped and die cut poinsettia leaves and layered them together. I used some die cuts from the Collectables Pack as my focal points on the front – then used some Kaiser varnish to coat a wooden star and before it was dry sprinkled some glitter over -then placed it on the top right of the card. I layered the collectables in the middle and placed the poinsettias either side .

The next card  was made using the rest of the Forest Weave cardstock which was 6 x 12.

003I folded it in half then folded the front in half to make an easel card.

I used a square of the same card measuring 6 x 6 to decorate as the front.

One of the papers from the paper pad was used as the base of the easel and to cover the front. Some more of the collectables were used as the focal point. These were mounted on foam tape.

I highlighted some of the elements with dries clear glue and Stickles Glitter.

006Finally I drew around the edges with a black glitter kaiserpen.

I had great fun creating these cards as have all the team using the amazing collections this month.
