Hope…by Emma

Hello!! Emma here and I’m back with my final card project of this month and once again, it features the fabulous Merry and Bright collection of papers from Kaisercraft.

As always, I’ll look forward to hearing what you think and I hope you like it…

To make this card, I used a Grand Spellbinders die to create my card blank and then I used the graduating sizes to die cut a piece of the Spruce Weave Kaisercard and a piece of the Enjoyable 12″ x 12″ paper to matt and layer onto the front of the card. I then cut a piece of Tomato Weave Kaisercard cut to size and matted this with a piece of foiled paper from the Merry and Bright paper pad.

Next I used a selection of the die cuts in the Collectables pack and arranged these onto the front of my card, together with a Snowflake rosette die cut from a piece of the Twinkling 12″ x 12″ paper using the Tim Holtz Snowflake Rosette die from Sizzix.

As a finishing touch, I added adhesive pearls as accents.

So, that’s it from me for December and for this year…thank you for all your continued support here on the Merly Impressions blog and also on my own blog. All that’s left for me to say now is….HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE and I hope you all have a wonderful festive holiday and a very happy new year!!

See you all in 2013!!

Bye for now…love Emma xx

  1. What an elegant and vintage card – as much so as those first Victorian ones – I think they started it all – certainly they’re to blame oops thank for Valentine’s Day cards (soon be here).

I have given all my Christmas craft left-overs (better than that sounds) to a charitable cause and am now in the market for new stuff – will be looking at Kaisercraft because of your samples, Emma. Thanks.
