It’s a Holly Jolly Holiday…

Hi Everyone,

I’m just back from the sun and getting ready for Christmas, hope you are all looking forward to the festive season.

I’ve made a selection of cards using elements from the fabulously festive Holly Jolly collection from Kaisercraft this month.

IMG_9286 smallIMG_9299.smallFor the first card, I created a circular easel card using  Creative Memories circles. A 6×6″ white card was used as the base with an additional circle on card as the topper. Another circle cut from the white thermographic sheet in the paper pad was added to the top with Cheery cut and trimmed to fit the base.

A piece of ribbon was wrapped around and a knot added towards the bottom. Trees were cut from the Hearty paper (12×12″) inked and layered in the bottom left corner. The sentiment square in the top was taken from the paper pad, trimmed and added with a die cut from the same pad and scalloped circle cut with a Stampin’ up punch. To finish, as always, I can’t resist some bling so gems and stickles were added.

Chipper - Holly Jolly CollectionI cut the Hexagon from the centre (around the brown edge) then placed the frame onto a 6×6″ white card centrally. Once in place a sharp craft knife was used to release the top half which was then folded to create the easel. The sentiment was inked and replaced using mounting foam.  Gleeful from the paper pad was trimmed to fit the base and a scalloped border from the same pad added as a stopper. A selection of Poinsettias were added (Kaisercraft dies can be found here) along with some gems.

Lastly, a simple design where the decorative panel was added to a 6×6″ blank. A sentiment from the same Chipper paper was trimmed and added, along with some trees from the Hearty paper (12×12″) with mounting foam. A double bow and gems, plus some glitter to finish.

IMG_9300.smallThere’s still time to make some Christmas cards, I know I have a few left to complete!

Check back later in the week for more inspiration from my lovely DT colleagues too.

Take care,
