Hi Everyone, Linda here to share a couple of cards made with the lovely Fiesta Collection.
This first one uses a 12×12″ sheet and the Fiesta paper pad, the perfect size for cards.
My base is 6×6″ covered with a piece of Watermelon Kaisercard which I gutted to 1″ from the edge (this saves card and reduces the weight). I then cut the floral panel from Arriba and removed the centre too giving a frame. Chrissy has recently started stocking the fabulously magical Lavinia stamps so they were my next port of call. The Hide & Seek door was stamped onto some and Smooth White Cardstock which I coloured with Kaiserfusion pens. I overstamped the Flower Fairy and a Small Pixie then glittered the wings with Stickles.
The cut frame was mounted over the top with 3D foam tape to give dimension.
Next I took the paper pad and found the equivalent of Hola paper cutting out lots of the flower clusters. I favour the craft scissors with their fine point for this. Layers were placed over the frame with 3d foam tape. Lots of little pearls were added to the flower centres and along the free edge to finish the card. Edges inked (as always) this time with Black soot.
For card #2, I again started with a 6×6″ base.
The equivalent of Salsa was taken from the paper pad which had two of the borders seen above – these were trimmed to fit and stuck either side using a glue runner. The tag was taken from the die-cut section of the paper pad and threaded with Lace. Floral elements from the Collectables pack were then trimmed, inked and layered onto the card with 3D foam tape.
Well, that’s all from me today, have fun crafting!
