Hi everyone…it’s Emma here!! Can you believe that another month has flown by and it’s already time to share my next set of projects with you all?!?!
I’ve been really lucky to be able to work with the Mint Twist collection which is such a bright, fun and contemporary set for Christmas. I made a couple of cards, using different card blank designs to showcase Mint Twist and this is my first project…I hope you like it!
To begin with, I made a box frame card blank measuring 15cm square and decorated the outside frame of the card using the holly design paper from the Mint Twist Paper Pad. I then cut and matted a 10cm piece of the Peppermint paper, onto a piece of Apple Weave Kaisercard and used this to line the recessed section of my box card. Next, I added the large Santa die cut from the Collectables pack onto the matts of backing card and paper and used Flower Soft to create the look of snow on the ground.
Using some more of the die cuts from the Collectables pack, I added the Merry Christmas onto the front of my card and then made a bunting of stockings, hanging from some Sew Easy Twine which I tied into bows at each end.
Finally, I added some red rhinestones as finishing touches on my box.
That’s all from me for this post and I really hope this card has given you a little bit of inspiration to create your own Christmas cards using the Mint Twist collection.
Bye for now and see you soon.
