Emmy here with two brand new cards to share. As you know this month I have the pleasure to work with Kaisercraft – Fly Free collection (available at Merly Impressions online store). And I can’t get enough of it! The colours are simply amazing and the butterflies and the birds are to die for!
“You Make Me Smile”
I fussy cut the white printed rectangle from the Sister pattern paper and used Tim Holtz Picked Raspberry distress ink to ink its edges. To distress it even further I used KaiserMist Ink Sprays – Pink, Red and Antique Gold. Then I adhered it to a slightly larger rectangle made of Kaisercard Coffee Bean Weave cardstock using Double sided tape.
For the flowers, the birds and the butterflies I used fussy cut elements from the Paper Pad and die cuts from the Collectables Pack. I embossed the different elements and adhered them with Mounting Foam Tape to my card.
For the base of this card I used Kaisercard Coconut Weave Cardstock – 15 x 21cm, which I folded in two. I used Tim Holtz Picked Raspberry distress ink to ink its edges. Then I added a layer of Kaisercard Coffee Bean Weave cardstock and a pink pattern layer (from the Paper Pad) To adhere all the layers I used Double sided tape and Mounting Foam Tape.
For my sentiment and the large butterflies I used die cut images from the Collectables Pack.
I hope I managed to inspire you today!
