Two cards with Fly Free

Hello everybody!

Emmy here with two brand new cards to share. As you know this month I have the pleasure to work with Kaisercraft – Fly Free collection (available at Merly Impressions online store). And I can’t get enough of it! The colours are simply amazing and the butterflies and the birds are to die for!

Here is what I’ve prepared for you today:MI-flyfree-cards-web

“You Make Me Smile”

To create the base for my card I used Kaisercard Coconut Weave Cardstock – 15 x 21cm, which I folded in two. I used the Paper Pad and Sister pattern paper to create the colourful layers.

I fussy cut the white printed rectangle from the Sister pattern paper and used Tim Holtz Picked Raspberry distress ink to ink its edges. To distress it even further I used KaiserMist Ink Sprays – Pink, Red and Antique Gold. Then I adhered it to a slightly larger rectangle made of Kaisercard Coffee Bean Weave cardstock using Double sided tapeMI-flyfree-card1-det-c

For the flowers, the birds and the butterflies I used fussy cut elements from the Paper Pad and die cuts from the Collectables Pack.  I embossed the different elements and adhered them with Mounting Foam Tape to my card.
