A layout with Stamps

Hello everyone,

It’s Pam here with a layout focusing on using some of the many fantastic stamps Kaisercraft makes. When I first saw the Hello Today collection I was inspired to create a black and white layout. I started with white card stock, and because I was going to be stamping I used the back (smooth) side of the card stock.

Here is my finished layout:2015-01-04 14.39.43_edited-1
I started this layout by taking a piece of plastic tapestry mesh which I painted with black ink, and pressed it onto the card stock. Then I flicked some of the black ink from my paint brush onto the card stock.2014-11-29-12.36.05ed1

I then used Stazon ink to randomly stamp with my all time favourite Kaisercraft stamp, ARTY.

I wasn’t after a perfect impression here, so I didn’t use an acrylic block with the stamp. I just inked it and pressed it onto the page. Please excuse the blur on this photo – dark winter days in Scotland don’t help with photographing layouts!

Then Iayered up my photo on patterned paper, and added some thin strips of horizontal patterned paper, some thread and washi tape for a bit of interest.
