Adventure Awaits – Time Machine

Hi All,

Linda here with another layout using the versatile Kaisercraft Time Machine – I so love this collection, I may have to buy another just to stroke! They aren’t just for masculine subjects either.

The base is Kaisercard Kraft gutted to 2″ from the outside edge. Hourglass was trimmed to 11″ square and stuck with Glue Runner. One of the specialty papers is Hour which has thermographic clear printing – perfect for misting – so, an 8×8″ piece was cut and sprayed with Turquoise and Antique Gold. I allowed it to pool and dry then buffed it with some kitchen paper.

This was placed on the page at a “jaunty” angle. From my first layout I had 2 x 1″ strips of Mechanism which were trimmed and added to the left and along the bottom of this panel. My photo is 5×4″ and I created a mat for it using the Kraft card cut to 6×5″ and edged with Ruler printed tape allowing a small border.

This was placed just within the crossover of Mechanism after the addition of two further tape strips across the page.  One of the printed borders from the sticker sheet was added down the left side.

Flowers were created using Gadget from the paper pad and the Layered Flowers die. I inked the edges with Picked Raspberry then bent the petals and glued three together. Leaves were cut the the leftover Kraft.

Several pieces from the Collectables were placed and layered bottom left of the photo and the flowers added. The centres are rolled strips of Kraft, inked and glued into place.

Another selection of The Collectables were added the the right, some raised on foam tape and letters from the sticker sheet added. Her name was created with a Bigz die, coloured with Picked Raspberry and Black Soot, coated with Crystal Lacquer.

A sentiment from the sticker sheet and loads of Pewter Pearls were then added, along with a double bow of pink ribbons and some pearl pins. Finally lines of faux stitching with a White Gel Pen, and we’re done.

I hope you enjoy this collection as much as I have.

Take care,

~ Linda ~
