Hello Kaisercraft fans!
Emmy here today with а brand new project to share featuring Kaisercraft’s Ooh La La collection from their October release (available at Merly Impressions online store). The pastel colours and the romantic images captured my heart and I hope I will manage to show its beauty in my creations.
For my background I used Kaisercard Smoke Weave Cardstock and Belle pattern paper. I cut off 0.5cm from each side of the pattern paper, ruffled its edges with paper distresser and adhered it to the cardstock using Kaisercraft 12mm Double-sided Tape. Once the pattern paper was secured on its place, I decided to give it extra pattern by using various Kaisercraft stamps (Chase Rainbows collection, Postmarks clear stamp) with Ink Pad – Black. Then I sprinkled Kaisermist on top (White, Aqua). I layered the picture on a slightly bigger piece of Kaisercard Coconut Weave Cardstock and an ever larger piece of Kaisercard Smoke Weave Cardstock. To decorate my layout I used different embellishments. For the flower corner I used Mini Paper Blooms – Coconut, Paper Blooms – Sage and Paper Blooms – Coral. I tucked a white paper doily under the pattern paper, adhered the blooms on top of it and then arranged the die cut flourishes (Foliage Die) and foliage (Mini Foliage Die) around them.
To embellish further my foliage die cuts I added Rhinestones – Champagne and glitter glue. I used different die cut images from the Paper Pad and the Collectables pack and stickers from the Sticker Sheet. I added Multi-medium – Gloss to some of the images to make them pop.For the hanging charm and the little birdies I used glossy pattern paper from the Paper Padand Decorative Die – Ornate Charm and Decorative Die – Birds and Cages.
I slightly embossed some of the die cut flowers from the Collectables pack and adhered them with Mounting Foam Tape. Once on their place, I added glitter glue on top and the cute little wooden bird (Flourish Pack – Antiques).
