Emmy here with my first project for May. This month I have the pleasure to work with the lovely Sea Breeze collection from Kaisercraft (available at Merly Impressions online store). I really love the combination of different shades of blue and brown, and the rustic paper design – perfect for any kind of picture!
For my background I used Kaisercard Island Weave Cardstock and Sea pattern paper. I cut off 0,5 cm from each side of the pattern paper, ruffled its edges with Paper Distresser and stitch the brown half-frame around it.
Then I marked the place of my picture and stamped the swilry edges with Clear Stamps – Sea Breeze Collection and Ink Pad – Bark. I layered my picture on a slightly bigger burlap piece, which I cut off from a Burlap Roll – 15cm and adhered both layers with Mounting Foam Tape.To decorate my page I used different pre cut shapes from the Collectables pack, the 12″Sticker Sheet and different paper flowers – Paper Blooms – Sage and Mini Paper Blooms – Coconut. I die cut a few berry branches using Decorative Die – Berry Vine and Kaisercard Coconut Weave Cardstock.
To finish off my design I added more sticker banners and Rhinestones – Aquamarine and Bronze. I hope you enjoyed my post today!
Have an amazing weekend!
