Birthday Selfie

Hi Everyone,

Hope you have all had a lovely Easter and eaten lots of Chocolate!

Today I would like to share a layout made with the Kaisercraft POP collection.

I began by cutting Kaisercraft white cardstock to 8×8″ and used a Marta Stewart deep edge punch around the page. From the same cardstock I cut one large and three small frames using the Kaisercraft Polaroid die – wow, these cut beautifully! I used Popcorn as my base page, then cut a piece of Balloons  8 1/2″ wide by 11″ long. A blue balloon was cut from the centre at the top where I knew it would not be seen and around the top of a blue balloon at the bottom so it would sit over my white punched frame. Before sticking I gutted a section from the Popcorn sheet 5×5″ to mat onto the white.

The large frame was added to the mat along with birthday from the sticker sheet.

For the letters “selfie” I used Party time – see how at the bottom of this post.

The balloon I had cut out was mounted with 3D foam tape and tied with some orange twine.

The coloured chevrons pointing to the birthday boy are from the sticker sheet, and his name from Party Time.

The smaller polaroid frames were overlapped under the main photograph with black and white copies of the photograph which I had divided. The words are from the sticker sheet, the numbers cut from the cut off strip of Popcorn and the month from Frosting.

I cut lots of elements from Party Time, above divided and put onto banner stickers from the sheet, below you can see how I made words by dividing the individual letters. I used and E to create the F !

Lots of delicious Orange Rhinestones were added to the page to finish.

That’s all from me for now but check back later in the week for more wonderful inspiration from the team.

~ Linda ~
