Celebrate Today with Barber Shoppe

Hello everyone,

Denise here with my first project, a layout using the lovely Kaisercraft Barber Shoppe Collection.

096This collection is a lovely mix of  cogs, watches, cars and many other items in great shades of grey brown and blue – perfect for a photo of my three sons at one of their weddings recently.

064I started by using a sheet of Powder Blue Kaisercard. I took a Cogs Stencil and applied Texture Paste onto the four corners of the card with a palette knife.065 067Once the paste had dried, I sprayed over two of the corners with Winter Grey Kaisermist.

068Next I went over the design with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink on two corners.

073The next thing was to lay on the special Mechanism Die Cut paper.

070This had been edged with Tumbled Glass ink.

074My photo was matted onto Licorice Kaisercard

076I used lots of Collectables from the pack to embellish the page.

091I also used some borders from the Sticker Sheet and 6.5 x 6.5 paper pad

090The word ‘Brothers’ was cut from one of the pages in the 6.5 x 6.5 paper pad.

092This is a great collection and I hope you have been inspired to try the texture paste and stencil – there are lots to choose from in the shop in all manner of designs.

Please pop back for some more amazing creations from our lovely new Design Team members.
