My name is Sandra Przybylska, I started scrapbooking in July 2013 (not so long ago) and the first challenge I joined was at the Merly Impressions blog. I was so happy and excited every month awaiting for the challenge to finish and for the new one to start. I was always receiving warm words from the team, so one day I asked Chrissy (the owner of the Merly Impressions Store and blog) if there will be any DT call in future as I liked Kaisercraft products and of course the DT team is so wonderful. Well she said that if there was a position she would let me know. So can you imagine how happy I was when she messaged me in early December asking if I want to be a part of the Design team? My biggest dream has come true – I had always loved this blog and now I’m a part of it! So please believe in your dreams! They do come true sometimes! I still can’t believe how lucky and happy I’m to be here!
Now a bit about myself, I was born in 1990, I have a little boy who just turned 1 (time flies so quick). I was born in Poland but I have lived in the UK since 2006, now with my parents and my 2 men 😉 and of course we have two little sausage dogs, an English Bull terrier and a cat too, so we are one big happy family 😉 I love scrapbooking since the day I started, I’m totally attached to it and I think it is the best way to capture all the memories! And that’s about it!
Today I have for you my first project for the blog as a Design Team Member (oh I’m so proud to be here, still so excited!). I used the beautiful Spring Bloom Collection.
For my background I used Clear stamp – rocks, than I cut the Posy Die–cut paper in half and I added the Pansy Paper. Then using White Gesso I made a little white contrast and added some stamping using Spring Bloom collection Stamps and Art Of life collection.
I choose a picture of my son drinking his bottle of Milk – so far he doesn’t want to eat much from solid food, but he loves every bottle he drinks! Using some of the Collectables from spring bloom collection I decorated the picture and I added a little journaling note, also I used one button from the Boutique Buttons – Just Chilling.
To give it a nice finish I added some Flowers on 3D foam pads from the Spring Bloom collectables to matching places in papers that I used + some Yellow Pearls. On the end I added a few drops of Red Acrylic paint and that’s it!
Thank You so much for popping onto the blog today, I hope you enjoyed this post.
Looking forward to see your take on our Challenge. You can add your entries on the March Challenge page.
