Christmas Memories with Silent Night

Hello everyone,

Denise here with my last project using the Silent Night Kaisercraft Collection.

denise-20161028I started by using Down the Chimney paper which I gutted a 10 x 10 inch piece from.

I have had one of the Beyond the Page Victorian Frames for a while, so I decided to use it . Firstly I painted it with Slate Kaiserpaint then once it was dry I backed it with the holly side of Down the Chimney paper.

I took some Pebble Kaisercard, cut it dowm to 11×11 inches and stamped the Noel Sentiment into the bottom left hand corner, then placed the card onto the gutted frame from of Down the Chimney paper.

016I then stuck the frame to the card

011I used some kraft card to mat my photo, then placed the photo in the bottom left corner.

Next I decided to make a flower from the burlap .

Firstly I cut a strip approximately 8 inches long in half lengthwise, then folded one end over and stuck it down.

012Once the end was secured, I took a thread from the middle of the other end and pulled it up..

013It gathered up and once gathered, the two ends were stuck together to form a flower, it needed a bit of a haircut !

014I placed this around my photo with a pine cone die from the Collectables Pack.020I used some of the borders from the 6.5  x 6.5 paper pad at the top of my photo

027I also embellished the layout with lots of die cuts from the Collectables pack.

026Finally I fussy cut some holly leaves from the 6.5  x 6.5 paper pad and from the leftovers of the Down The Chimney paper and drew a frame around the card edge with a glitter Kaiser Gel Pen.

I hope you’ve enjoyed the projects with this collection and be sure to pop back from some more inspiration from the team soon.
