This month I got to use the lovely Christmas collection Home for Christmas. I had some lovely photos of my daughter as a baby on her first Christmas to use.
I then spread using a palette knife, Texture Paste through the Christmas Quarters stencil, I spread a thickish amount and left it to air dry. The effect from using the sprays first is that you can see it through the Texture Paste, so it doesn’t just look flat and white.
A circle was cut and distresses from a sheet of Sugar Plum. I inked the edges in Kaisercraft mini ink pad-Vine. A smaller circle was also cut and inked from the Laurel paper, I Distressed and inked the edges with Tim Holtz Mini Distress in Aged Mahogany. Further circles were cut out using paper from the Paper Pad. The photo of my daughter was also cut into a circle and added to the layers of circles. The Christmas Trees were cut out from the Decoration paper, inked and raised with Mounting foam Tape.
Stars were inked from the Sticker sheet and added to the Christmas trees. The garland was also from the sticker sheet. The strip at the top of the layout is cut from the papers and the quote is also a strip cut down. As usual a lovely sprinkle of Pearls in Green and Red were added to finish the layout.
Hope you enjoy my post!
