Over the years we have tended to holiday abroad, but a few years ago, we visited Cornwall (Penzance to be exact). We fell in love with Cornwall and have been back several times since. We’re just about to go again for our main holiday this year and it reminded me of one of our favourite beaches that we discovered.
I’m not sure what it is about Crackington Haven that really attracts us – there are sandier beaches or beaches with more attractions, but there is something truly special. I wanted to make a layout about Crackington so that when we look back we can recapture those happy times that we have spent there.
I have played with the totally gorgeous Check-In collection this month – I simply adore anything travel related! Envelopes are definitely a favourite way to tuck in secret journaling or tickets. This particular envelope was created using a home made envelope template. Look out for cute kids cards at Christmas – they have adorable envelopes that you can carefully pull apart, draw around and create your own template!
These adorable acetate shapes are a really interesting way to matt your title. Those fabulous letter stickers are exactly like the signboards that you see in airports and train stations. You can find a full set of stickers here.
Here’s a shopping list of everything I have used from the Merly Impressions shop:
- Luggage 12×12 paper from Check In collection
- Roam 12×12 paper from Check In collection
- Check In Border Stickers
- Check In Acetate shapes
- Kaisercraft Rouge Cardstock
I hope that you will scrap a favourite destination this month. It doesn’t have to be anywhere exotic, just somewhere special to you!
Thanks for popping in.
