Linda here with a final project using the gorgeous Coastal Escape by Kaisercraft.
Hope you all have had a lovely Easter!
Next it was into the “Spray station” aka pizza box for a splattering of Turquoise KaiserMist.
I then cut a strip from Discovery approximately 8 x 3 1/2″ and place @ 2″ from the bottom.
A piece of burlap was cut 6 x 7″ (from a 6″ roll) and the stitched edges removed. My photograph is 3 1/2 x 4 1/2″ matted onto a lovely piece from the paper pad with starfish on. Once fixed to the burlap, I frayed the edges leaving a small border – this was then stuck in place bottom left @ 1″ in. I cut several fronds out using the Native flourish and also Daisy and coloured elements using Squeezed Lemonade and Turquoise KaiserMist and a brush – they paint beautifully and sparkle once dried. These were place top right and bottom left of the photo.
The threads removed from the burlap were tied into a knot and added to the layout to create more texture.
And, of course, lots of pearls!
I hope you have enjoyed my Coastal Escapes, more from my fellow teamies to follow soon.
Until next time, take care,
~ Linda ~
