Have you seen the Tea Party Collection from Kaisercraft ? If not, you must go take a look – it’s absolutely gorgeous! You can see it here. All pretty pinks, blues, reds and plenty of tea pots and cupcakes too! It’s such a pretty collection that I decided to use it to scrap this picture of my mum, when she was a wee girl.
Putting this layout together was a breeze. First I took a piece of scrap paper and used it to mask off a square in the middle of the page, over which I dry brushed some white acrylic paint. Then I randomly stamped bits of a chicken wire stamp. I doodled around the edge of my dry brushing and the perimeter of the layout, than began to layer up some papers and diecuts. The coordinating dies cuts makes for easy embellishment:
And the Fairy Floss rose ribbon trim adds that perfect bit of dimension.
