it’s Pam here.
Today’s layout uses the gorgeous Ma Cherie collection, with a focus on using the coordinating clear stamps.
I chose the subtle patterned side of the Elegant paper as the base for my layout. This paper has a subtle fan design, but I wanted to add a bit more pattern while still keeping the colour subtle. So I used the rose stamp and stamped all over the paper using a Kaisercraft mini ink pad in Sandstone which is very similar in colour to the fan design on the paper. I love these mini ink pads. They are very juicy and the small size makes it easy to tap the pad all over the stamp to get a good coverage of ink.
While I had the stamps and inks out I continued stamping, first the sentiment using an ink pad in Slate. I stamped this onto a journalling block from the Frilly paper, and then cut out the oval and butterfly.
Next I stamped the butterflies onto the Darling paper, using Slate and Brown ink pads.I then stated to build up my layout. I used another of the journalling blocks to place behind my photo, and fussy cut the corner floral arrangement from the Darling paper. The floral strip is from the coordinating sticker sheet.I embellished my layout with my previously stamped images, and some die cut collectables. I also used some blooms, and some adhesive pearls on the flower centres and the butterfly bodies. So that’s my layout featuring the clear stamps. I hope it gives you some ideas for using stamps on your layouts.
