Memorable Days with Old Mac

Hello everyone,

Denise here with a layout made with the Old Mac Kaisercraft Collection.

denise-0316-1This layout was inspired by the horses on one of the papers as it reminded me of a visit to a castle in Germany where our transport up the mountain to the castle was by horse and carriage.

I started by using  the Toffee Weave Cardstock as my base. I stamped over it with the Woodgrain Background Clear Stamp.

denise-0316-2I then took the Land Die Cut Paper– laid it flat and placed the Woven Die Cut paper over the top, then sprayed  some Coffee Kaisermist Spray  through it, using it like a stencil . I  cut carefully round the outer frame then raised it up on foam tape .

092I cut two banner shapes from the Countryside and Animals papers ( using the reverse side)  and used them as the base for my photo which was also matted on to the same papers and edged with a decorative punch. I then die cut a fancy shape using the plain side of the Horseshoe paper with the Decorative Doily Die cut it in half and layered it around the photo.

This was also inked with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.

denise-0316-4Various Collectables were layered around the photo using foam tape. I also punched some flower shapes and layered them each side of the photo and added some gorgeous gems

denise-0316-5I added some journalling by writing on some strips of the paper and placing them under the photo.

denise-0316-6I will be back with another layout from Old Mac soon – don’t forget to check back for some more inspiration from the team !
