Hi everybody! It is that time of the month again and we are here to challenge you once more!
This month we have a theme challenge for you – we are challenging you to create a scrapbook layout featuring :
“Food” or “My Favourite Food”
Your layout can tell any food related story you wish – growing it, buying it, preparing it, cooking it or eating it – we don’t mind as long as it’s a prominent part of the layout. The final date for entries is the 2nd of April 2014.
One of our design team has created a layout to provide a little inspiration:
Hi it’s Ali here with my take on the fantastic challenge for this month – FOOD!! What is not to love about this one?
This month I was given the MOST delightful collection Kaisercraft have ever made; Hello Sunshine!!! It is ADORABLE So, with so many bright and happy papers and embellishments scattered over my desk my choice of food was easy; birthday cake!!!
I started off using one of the 12x12s from the collection Crack Up and smooshed a load of different inks onto it. Then I layered up a cut out from the In Stitches 12×12 paper and a sheet from the 6×6 pad.
The lovely little heart stamp is from the super fun clear stamps set. I always think it’s the little details that make the difference!
My title also came from the Alpha Sheet. Seriously, you can not go wrong with this delightful collection. Treat yourself!
Hope to see your favourite food popping up on a layout in our challenge. If you win, you can put your voucher towards some of these lovely little bits
Thank you for popping in today,
Please add your creation to the gallery below before the challenge closes at 1:00pm on 2rd April 2014. We will then choose our favourite layout to win a fantastic prize – a £25.00 voucher to spend on anything you want from the Merly Impressions online store. Wow!
We do hope that you have fun with our challenge and that we bring some inspiration your way. Every month I love to look through all your gorgeous entries but please make sure you follow the challenge rules as we are sad to have on occasion to remove some entries as they didn’t follow those rules.
