My ‘Little’ Boy

It is very cliche but where does the time go?  Seems only yesterday that my ‘little’ boy was born and now he’s a strapping twelve year old who is almost as tall as me!

I got to play with Kaisercraft’s Attitude! Collection which is perfect for him.  He’s no longer that little boy but a pre-teen.

For this layout I kept things fairly simple making the most of the die-cuts from the Attitude! Collectables. I started with the embossed speciality paper – Industrial.  This really cool paper has a great texture ready for what goes on top!

As always, there are heaps of die-cuts to choose from in great colours and shapes.  I layered mine over some ‘tape’ in a kind of border fashion.

There are nine papers in the collection and some feature photo mats and journal cards.  These are really handy to mat photos quickly and effectively. I used  Teenager (the cool number paper) and  What’s Up? (photo mat).

To customise the background, I stamped a border using the Graffiti clear stamp using Archival Ink.  A few  blobs of white ink really show up against the dark background.

Sanding or inking the edges gives great definition to the layers.

Thanks for popping in.
