November Sketch Challenge Inspiration

Hi everyone, it’s Pam here with my take on the November sketch challenge.

This month I get to play with the Basecoat Christmas collection by Kaisercraft. This is a great collection with lots of weathered wood, and Christmas florals. I was drawn to this collection as it brings back memories of hot Christmases in Australia. I particularly love the florals because of the wonderful bottlebrush flowers – I had the most stunning bottlebrush growing in my garden in Australia! So with that Australian connection it seems only fitting that to scrap some photos of my nephew’s three gorgeous children who live in the middle of NSW.

So here’s my layout:

_MG_1135-8As you can see I have stuck pretty well to the sketch, with one major change, and that was to do circle photos, rather than square ones.

This layout uses the Santa paper for the background, and I have layered up some collectables, and some of the bottle brush flowers cut from the Flora paper.

Did you know that Kaisercraft now make Dies? Well, those chevrons (cut from Kaisecraft glitter paper) are dies cut using one of the new dies sets, Arrows.

I do hope you will join in with the November sketch challenge – remember you have lots of time to do this one!!
