Our Little Princess with Fairy Dust

Hello everybody,

Emmy here today to share with a brand new layout created with one of Kaisercraft’s newest collections “Fairy Dust” (available at Merly Impressions online store). I absolutely adore this paper line – the fairies, the butterflies, the soft colour palette – everything is just the way I like it!

MI-Happy-Birthday-webFor my background I used Kaisercard Coconut Weave Cardstock, which I altered with butterfly stencil and Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad Tumbled Glass and Victorian Velvet. After the ink has dried, I sprayed silver mist on top and stamped the flourish from the Clear Stamps Set matching the collection using Adirondack Paint Dabber – SilverMI-Happy-Birthday-det-a (1)To create the layers under my picture I used pattern papers from Fairy Dust Mini Paper Pad. I ruffled their edges with Paper Distresser and adhered them with Mounting Foam Tape to my background.MI-Happy-Birthday-det-a (6)I used die cut elements from both the Paper Pad and the Collectables Pack to decorate my page.MI-Happy-Birthday-det-a (3)And I also fussy cut fairies and butterflies from the foil paper from the Fairy Dust Mini Paper Pad.MI-Happy-Birthday-det-a (2) MI-Happy-Birthday-det-a (7)For the flower cluster I used Paper Blooms – Amethyst
