My DD is totally obsessed with dogs. We don’t own a dog ourselves, so whenever we visit the park, she is immediately drawn to any passing pooch!
On a trip to the park recently, the kids accosted a complete stranger and took their dog for a little walk. The dog was totally adorable and I think they would have taken her home if they had the chance!
As the it was the first sunny day in ages, I wanted to create a fresh, spring layout using the Remember Me collection.
To keep the background fresh and simple, I started with a pretty stamped image – Timeless, Botanical and added small rhinestones to give it a little sparkle. From there, I used layers of patterned paper to form the base for the photos before adding in die-cuts from the Collectables. The gorgeous little tag is a fab way to add more interest and texture to the embellishments.
Rather than use just straight edges, why not try using your punches and die-cuts (from the 6 1/2″ paper pad) to add depth and texture to your photos? The paper pad features gloss and flock papers too so although you can’t really see it in the photo, there are different textures below the photo which gives the layout a real tactile feel.
I hope that you get a feel of just how versatile the Remember Me Collection is with is lovely mix of patterns and colours.
Thanks for popping in.
