Product Focus: Forget-me-not Collectables, Part1

I have been thinking a lot lately on what kind of feature I could come-up with to help you get the most out of your gorgeous Kaisercraft goodies. I wanted to create a new monthly “Rendez-vous” where you could find ideas on how to use a particular piece of stash, collection, tool or even embellishment; old or new, to inspire you and get your mojo going. “Product Focus” will show you through 2, 3 or even maybe 4 posts different ways to use your stash.

This month I am using the packet of Collectables from the gorgeous Forget-me-not Collection. First stop is a layout:

Here I wanted to show you a great way to really make your collectables go further. I loved the honeycomb shapes present in the pack and decided to design a layout around them. There wasn’t enough of them in the pack so I simply used one of them as a stencil to cut some extra ones out of the Paper Pad to then cover them with glossy accent to help them look line the real thing. I used one of the words present in the pack as my title, added a few dodles and my layout was done!

I hope this inspired you!

  1. Hi Karen,

Emilie normally uses stamps to do the journalling, I think she did with layout as well.
