Hi Everyone,
Linda here with my last layout using the vibrant Fly Free collection from Kaisercraft. I’ve had a lot of fun with this paper pack and accessories and this time I’ve focused on the Collectables and the fabulous new gel & sparkle pens. So, I began with a sheet of Coconut Kaisercard, an absolute staple, and added a strip of Gal Pal from the paper pack measuring 13 x 29 cm which I faux stitched with a black glitter pen, to the left hand side. You can see the shimmer in the photo below, they are delicious!.
My photo’s were printed as a photo-strip using an app on my phone called Mphotobooth but you could always use small photos and mount them onto white card. I added a matt of Coconut Kaisercard and “stitched” this edge too.
Once placed onto the Gal Pal, I added other strips of paper 15 x 4 cm from the paper pack to the right. I doodled around the inside and outside edges of these using a combination of patterns using the fabulous pens in a variety of colours. To be honest, photographs do not do them any justice – trust me!
There are some lovely elements in the Collectables and I found these banners with fun sentiments which, after more “stitching” I added to the strips, raised using mounting tape.
I trimmed a couple of flowers from the Collectables too and stuck them top and bottom, followed by some beautiful butterflies which have been shaped with wings raised using the mounting tape too. A little sparkle was added with the glitter pens.
The Collectables pack has lots of gorgeous butterflies so more were added to the left of the photo too.
And of course beautiful blooms and leaves which I shaped and placed along the bottom.
To finish I ran another line of “stitching” all around the edge of the page and a copious amount of Hot Pink Rhinestones.
Thank-you for taking the time to read – lots more exciting things to come next month so don’t forget to check back in a couple of days!
Until then, take care,
~ Linda ~
