Snapshots with Just Landed

ffHello Kaisercraft fans!

Emmy here sharing my very first layout for July. This month I have the pleasure to work with the most amazing travel collection from Kaisercraft “Just Landed” (available at Merly Impressions online store). The inspirational quotes, the lovely die cuts and the clear stamps are all you need to  capture your worldwide adventures!

MI-snapshots-webI used various papers to create my background. For the base I used Kaisercard Stone Weave Cardstock. I inked its edges with Distress Ink Pad – Old Paper. Then I cut two stripes of Baggage pattern paper, ruffled their edges with Paper Distresser and adhered them with Kaisercraft 12mm Double-sided Tape to the cardstock. For the dimensional layer I used Texture Paste and Tim Holtz Layering Stencil Bubbles. After the Texture Paste has dried I sprinkled KaiserMist Spray Ink – Charcoal and KaiserMist Spray Ink – Antique Gold.

MI-snapshots-det-a (1)I used a border punch and Kaisercard Licorice Weave Cardstock to create the black borders and I cut out another pattern paper stripe, but this time I used Subway pattern paper.

MI-snapshots-det-a (3)For the frames around my pictures I used Polaroid Cut-outs. I adhered the pictures inside the frames and titled them with funny sayings from the Sticker Sheet. As a final touch I outlined the stickers with Gelly Roll Pen, Medium Point – Black to make the pop out. MI-snapshots-det-a (9)To decorate my page I used stickers from the Sticker Sheet, pattern papers from the Paper Pad, die cut images from the Collectables packMI-snapshots-det-a (7) MI-snapshots-det-a (5)I used Kaisercard Licorice Weave Cardstock with Decorative Die – Geo Tags and Flourish to die cut more embellishments for my layout.MI-snapshots-det-a (2) MI-snapshots-det-a (10) MI-snapshots-det-a (6)The large quote I took from Passport patter paper. I layered it on a slightly larger piece of Kaisercard Coconut Weave Cardstock and adhered it with Mounting Foam Tape.MI-snapshots-det-a (12)To finish off my project I added stamped images (Clear Stamps – Just Landed Collection) and Pearls – Black and White.

I hope you enjoyed today’s post!

Have a lovely creative week!
