Hello Kaisercraft fans!
Emmy here today with my second prohject for this month, Kaisercraft’s Beach Shack collection and a Mini Stencil (available at Merly Impressions’ online store). To create my background I used a lot of different components. I distressed the edges of the Pier pattern paper using a paper piercing tool and a Paper Distresser and I layered it on top of 12″ Kaisercard Coconut Weave Cardstock. Before adhering the two layered together, I distressed the edges of the cardstock using Distress Ink Pad – Stormy Sky. Then I added the white dimensional pattern in the middle of the background paper using Waffle 6×6 Designer Stencil and Texture Paste. Once the paste has dried I sprinkled KaiserMist Spray Ink – Antique Gold and KaiserMist – White on top.
Then I carefully separate the “wooden frame” from the Porthole die-cut paper and adhered it on top using Mounting Foam Tape.I matted my picture on slightly larger panel of Kaisercard Coconut Weave Cardstock and adhered it with Mounting Foam Tape to the background paper. To decorate my page I used pre cut elements from the Collectables Pack…… quotes from the Wave Break pattern paper…… die cut elements (Decorative Die – Texture Woven, Decorative Die – Arrows and Kaisercard Powder Blue Weave cardstock…… and a lot of stickers form the Sticker Sheet, which I adhered with Mounting Foam Tape.
As a final touch I added Rhinestones – Island Lagoon.
I hope I managed to inspire you today!
Have a wonderful creative week!
