“Time is a Storyteller” with Antique Bazaar

Hello everybody!

Emmy here sharing my newest Kaisercraft’s Antique Bazaar Collection project. On this picture is again my grandmother, but about 10 years later, ca. 1944-45.

I used Recycle pattern paper for my background. To lighten the colour of the paper I added a layer of Gesso in the middle. I created the dimensional pattern using Kaisercraft Damask Quarters 12×12 Stencil and Ranger Ink Texture Paste.  Once the paste has dried, I sprinkled a bit of KaiserMist Spray Ink – Antique Gold on top of the background paper.

I used the Mini Paper Pad to create the layers under my picture. I shaped the edges using Martha Stewart punch and adhered the different layers with Mounting Foam Tape.

To embellish my layout I used different sayings from the 12″ Sticker Sheet …

Paper Blooms Terracotta and Mini Paper Blooms Coconut. To die cut the leafy flourishes I used Kaisercraft Decorative Die Foliage and other leafy dies.

The pearly swirl is also from Kaisercraft – Elegant Pearl Flourish Latte. I used Pearls Champagne to decorate the die cuts (Collectables pack).

I used different die cuts from the Collectables pack and fussy cut elements from  small Paper Pad. TIP! If you are not satisfied with the colour of the die cut, you can alter them by adding a thin layer of KaiserMist Spray Ink – Antique Gold or any other colour. It will give a light shimmer to the paper – look at the black frame under my sentiment.
