Time Machine Layout

Hi everyone, it’s Pam here.

‘Time Machine’ is a great collection, with, unsurprisingly,  a time theme! It’s full of rich dark colours, greens and browns, and the coordinating die cuts have sentiment strips, clock, cogs and gears which makes it a fantastic collection for masculine layouts. However, it has it’s pretty feminine papers too, and that’s what I used for my layout of my daughter, her gran and her cousin.

As you can see I was in the mood for a bit of distressing. First I tore a piece of ‘Gears’ paper in two, and inked and distressed the edges. I used a craft knife to rough up the outer edges and applied ‘Vintage Photo’ distress ink on the edges. To cover the gap between the two pieces of paper I tore a strip of the ‘Gadget’ paper. I constructed the layout and then machine stitched around the edge before adhering it to the card stock.

TMweb_edited-1The layout has been embellished with some of the die cut collectables, some clock tape (love that!) and a decorative strip from the sticker sheet. Some of the die cuts are raised on foam tape to add  a little dimension.

The scallop strip is from the small paper pad. Finally, the little stamped sentiment in the bottom left hand corner is from the co-ordinating stamp set.

I’ll add some journalling under the sentiment strip later.

I hope you love this collection as much as I do.

Pam
