Hello Kaisercraft fans!
Emmy here today with my next project for December and since this month I have the pleasure to work with the cutest Kaisercraft collection Peek-a-Boo (available at Merly Impressions online store), I deceded to create twin layouts – one for a boy and one for a girl. For the backgrounds of these layouts I used Precious and Bundle pattern papers. I altered them by adding a dimensional layer using Kaisercraft Stencils (Christmas Quarters and Damask Quarters) with texture paste mixed with glitter. I sprinkled also a bit of KaiserMist Spray Inks (Candy and Antique Gold) onto the background paper for the girly-layout. Once the glittery texture paste has dried, I started arranging my design. I layered the pcitures on a slightly larger piece of Kaisercard Coconut Weave Cardstock and then on a pattern paper from the Paper Pad.
For the snetiments around the pictrues I used pattern papers form the Paper Pad, Kaisercard Coconut Weave Cardstock and a square frame die. I adhered the different layers with Mounting Foam Tape. To decorate them I used die cut planes and birds (Decorative Die – Birds and Cages and Geo tags), fussy cut images and Epoxy Stickers – Candy. To create the flower clusters I used Paper Blooms from Kaisercraft (Mini Paper Blooms – Coconut, Paper Blooms – Fairy Floss and Paper Blooms – Iceberg) and die cut foliage embellishments, using various dies (Foliage and Mini Foliage from Kaisercraft). I embellished some of the die cuts with rhinestones (Ice Blue and Soft Pink). I fussy cut the prams form a glossy paper from the Paper Pad and added different pre-cut images from the Collectables pack and the Sticker Sheet around the photographs. For the main/title sentiments I used the cut-off stripes from the 12×12 pattern papers. I layered the sentiments on a larger stripe of Kaisercard Coconut Weave Cardstock, cut them into peices and adhered them with Mounting Foam Tape. I hope you enjoyed today’s post!
Have a wonderful creative week!
